NEWSFLASH #1:

TOM RUSSELL WILL APPEAR AGAIN ON THE DAVID LETTERMAN SHOW—Tuesday, August 21st—and if there’s any truth to the rumor we’re catching wind of here in Montana (Dave’s “home” state!), Tom’s planning to perform his hit, “Who’s Gonna Build Your Wall?,” both lyric and riff beaming with that sagacity, sanctity, and sass you’ll place on the same musical 200% de Agave Azul top shelf with the songs of, say, Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen….  Take a power nap and have a triple espresso with supper, if that’s what it’ll take to keep you glued wide-eyed to the tube for the Late Show With David Letterman on August 21st.  After which, you can forget about sleep altogether, as Tom’s powerful song is certain to keep you contemplatingly “Tossin’ & Turnin’” for nights to come.

NEWSFLASH #2:

Rumor has it also that COWBOYS & INDIANS Magazine will include in their October issue a generous review of Collisions Of Reckless Love and Rock ‘n’ Rowel, complete with colorful visuals and the transcription of one poem in its entirety.  THANK YOU Bill Reynolds!  THANK YOU Dana Joseph!  And here’s hoping BARwhiskey CZARzyski fans, who do not hold subscriptions to COWBOYS & INDIANS, will storm newsstands across the West in mid-September, boosting sales of the issue by the dozens, if not the umpteens.
